Eddie Conard first came to the Netherlands in 1974 for an exchange program, having lived in Gary, IN. He came back and studied sociology but at one point decided to follow his passion for music. He became a session musician and as a percussionist and sideman, Eddie became more and more known in and out of Holland. International artists like The Pointer Sisters, Chaka Khan, Eros Ramazotti, Soulsister and many more contracted him for their European tours. He was the session percussionist on records and in live shows for many dutch and belgian bands and artists like The Golden Earring, Lee Towers, Rob de Nijs, Rene Froger and many others. Eddie also has his own projects like Soulful with Frank Peeters, JazsolGreen where he combines his own sound with a classical harp sound or one where he forms a duo Ivo & Eddie with Ivo Stuivenberg. He also coaches young emerging artists through the Enschede pop school and hosts the Rhythm Awareness workshop for groups. As a solo artist Eddie Conard can be booked when you are looking for an artist capable of performing in musical genres like soul, jazz, cajon or blues.
